How to make an easy human thorax model

Abstract

Physical computer models are important in order to investigate simulation results. This paper presents how to make an easy human thorax model, combining a whole heart, left and right lungs, and a chest. Geometric approximation algorithms were employed to model the human thorax from raw geometric data. This human thorax model was constructed using commercial software. Results showed a whole human thorax model. © 2011 IEEE.
