Anpo Protests: พัฒนาการของการเคลื่อนไหวทางการเมืองในญี่ปุ่นยุคหลังสงคราม

Abstract

บทความนี้ศึกษาความสำคัญของเหตุการณ์ Anpo Protests หรือการประท้วงอัมโปะ ซึ่งเป็นการประท้วงต่อต้านการให้สัตยาบันสนธิสัญญาความมั่นคงร่วมระหว่างสหรัฐอเมริกา กับญี่ปุ่นใน ค.ศ. 1960 และต่อต้านฐานทัพสหรัฐอเมริกาในญี่ปุ่น ผลการศึกษาพบว่านอกจาก เพื่อต่อต้านสนธิสัญญาและฐานทัพสหรัฐอเมริกาแล้ว ผู้ประท้วงยังต่อต้านความไม่เป็นประชาธิปไตย ของรัฐบาลจากการลงสัตยาบันสนธิสัญญา จึงออกมาเคลื่อนไหวเพื่อแสดงสิทธิของตนเองใน ระบอบประชาธิปไตย การประท้วงนี้เป็นการเคลื่อนไหวครั้งใหญ่ที่สุดของมวลชนญี่ปุ่นยุคหลัง สงคราม โดยกลุ่มนักศึกษาหัวรุนแรงฝ่ายซ้ายมีบทบาทสำคัญในการเคลื่อนไหวต่อต้านสนธิสัญญา และระดมมวลชนThis study examines the1960 Anpo protests against the ratification of the revised U.S.-JapanSecurityTreaty and the U.S. military bases inJapan.The study has found that besides protesting against the treaty and the military bases, the protestors also protested against undemocratic acts of the government. The protestors called for democracy and mobilized millions people onto the streets to present their democratic rights. It was the biggest national crisis in post-war Japan. Students of a New Radical Left played the important role of the citizen activists in the protests of the treaty and mobilized people.
