Abstract

This engineering project is to study the influence of plasma antenna shape on antenna frequency and radiation patterns. It will focus on the study of plasma antennas using lamps to study how the shape changes affect the plasma antenna. It was found that different frequency can be operated when use different shape of lamps. In addition, changing the input power to all bulb shapes, with the minimum power input of 0 watts and the maximum power of 60 watts, the frequency is shifted 90, 60, 20 and 60 MHz. Therefore, if feed different power inputs to the same bulb shape, the frequency of the antenna will change.
